The Devil Made Me Do It, 1991 was created as a promo for the artist PARIS and his LP "The Devil Made Me Do It". It was one of my portfolio pieces in response to the ongoing police violence against people of color that was omnipresent while attending college in NYC.
This work was supposed to be a part of our "history" but instead it has continued to reflect additional lives taken prematurely. It is part of the ongoing manifestation of 25 years of me processing Rodney King and todays current events in America through a body of work I never knew I would still be creating twenty five years later.
